Developing Oregon’s Next Generation of Natural Resource Leaders

REAL Oregon (Resource Education & Agricultural Leadership) is Oregon’s only statewide leadership development program focused on strengthening the voices of those working in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, water, energy, and other natural resource sectors.

Through immersive learning, hands-on industry exposure, and a powerful statewide network, REAL Oregon equips participants with the tools, knowledge, and connections to lead with integrity—and to advocate for the future of Oregon’s land, communities, and economy.

This year’s Impact Report highlights the accomplishments of Class 8, who traveled across the state—from Klamath Falls to Newport to Pendleton—meeting producers, policymakers, and local leaders, and engaging in conversations that shape Oregon’s natural resource future. It also reflects how our alumni network is expanding, our curriculum is evolving, and our vision is growing.
